Sipho Whisk Broom – Handwoven Heritage with a Modern Twist

Practicality meets artistry in the Sipho Whisk Broom, a vibrant, character-filled piece that proves even everyday tools can spark joy. Handwoven in Eswatini by the skilled artisans of Siyaphambili Handcraft, each broom is crafted from sustainably harvested lutindzi grass and bound with natural sisal.

Created in collaboration with European designers Agathe Pautrot and Delphine Meriaux, the Sipho Whisk Broom honors traditional weaving techniques while embracing playful, modern aesthetics. The striped, triple-headed handle brings a bold contrast to the finely fanned bristles—turning a humble tool into a statement-worthy object.

In SiSwati, Sipho means “Gift,” a fitting name for a piece that carries both craft and care in every fiber. Whether displayed in your home or used in your daily rituals, it’s a celebration of cultural heritage, sustainable materials, and thoughtful design.
